Our Services

Fix ur Pet is a an access to care veterinary clinic with a special interest in spay/neuter services, minor surgeries, dental care and wellness care for dogs and cats. Access to care clinics focus on providing care to those communities for whom full service veterinary services have become unaffordable. We work to provide our care at prices that most pet owner can manage so that we can increase the number of pets getting preventative care and basic care for injuries and illness. We are a non-profit arm of SAVE Rescue Coalition. We are not a FREE clinic but a LOW COST CLINIC. In order to keep our prices affordable we have some limitations. Our staff is small and we cannot offer many conveniences of full service practices. We have specific check in and pick up times. If your animal is not here at check-in we cannot take him. We lock our doors at 8:30 to begin surgeries. If you call you will likely get a recording which will not be answered until all surgeries are completed and animals are safely recovered. You may leave a voicemail or email clinic@fixurpet.com and we will answer as soon as possible.

Our first priority is you pet.

HOURS and Days of service: Surgeries and dentals are on TUES, WED AND THURS *we prefer dentals to be scheduled on Thursdays and Fridays. Drop off is between 7:00am and 8:00am. If you feel like your pet requires a surgical recheck, please call or email us ASAP for daily availability. Friday is wellness day. Additionally, we have occasional Saturday wellness availability. Your appointment confirmation will have full details and times.

If you schedule a wellness exam for a pet that is not spayed or neutered you will be asked to reschedule as a spay or neuter surgical appointment. Our mission is to stop the number of homeless pets and spay/neuter is the easiest way. Our spay/neuter packages are not only affordable but offer vaccines and microchipping as well as surgical services. Help us put an end to pet overpopulation and improve your pets health by FIXING UR PET.

Through donations and grants to SAVE Rescue, we are able to provide subsidized services to those residents of Galveston County and, starting in 2024, in Brazoria County. This service is for the most needy in our communities and is limited to residents on SSI, SNAP or disabled veterans. We ask that you only use these benefits if you are unable to afford our already low prices. In order to be eligible for these services, which are available on specific weekend days and are announced on our Facebook page, you will need to apply at http://www.bit.ly/galvestoncounty-spayneuter when the post appears announing a new free clinic. After reviewing your eligibility, they will schedule your appointment and award the services for the next available clinic. As funds become available, we may be offering additional subsidized services with the purpose of providing additional care for pets in need.
